Iranian animation ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ has been selected to compete at the 11th edition of the Kinodiseea International Children Film Festival in Romania.
Directed by Mahdieh-Sadat Ahmadi-Soleimani, the animation narrates the story of a girl who is struggling with the problems of her time.
Finally, she surrenders herself to the birds that she had painted.
Ahmadi-Soleimani’s animation was nominated for the Special Award at the 23rd Religion Today Film Festival in Italy.
The animation has been named among the silver winners in the Best Short – Animation at the 3rd quarter of the 2020 season of the Queen Palm International Film Festival in the US.
The Kinodiseea is a festival for young audience in South-Eastern Europe.
The event brings children, parents, grandparents, teachers and moviegoers the best of educational films.
The event is slated for November 6-10, 2020.
